Honey Sriracha Glazed Steak Kabobs

Honey Sriracha Glazed Steak Kabobs is a quick and easy meal, that is bright and fun with a sweet heat finish.

I highly recommend the metal, reusable skewers over the bamboo/ wood versions. The metal versions allow for quick cleaning and in some cases are dishwasher safe.

That’s a benefit when working with a sticky and delicious sauce, like Honey Sriracha.

An option, if you have time, is to marinate the steak for several hours in your favorite blend, for added flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce or use up to 2 tablespoons, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or use lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or use 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 peppers (Green, Yellow, Red)
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 container Cherry Tomatoes
  • 2 lbs sirloin tips

Instructions:

  • Whisk together the sriracha, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and salt to taste in a small pot over medium-low heat.
  • Simmer the Sauce. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to let the flavors combine.
  • Set the grill to 350 degrees.
  • Create your kabobs with a mix of onions, peppers, tomatoes, and beef.
  • Sprinkle the kabobs with salt and pepper (Option – Use Lawry’s Season Salt, in place of regular salt).
  • Grill the kabobs until the beef reaches 130-135 degrees internal temperature. This is a medium rare cook for the steak.
  • Brush the Honey Sriracha sauce over the beef and allow it to tack up over the heat/ fire.
