Honey Sriracha Glazed Steak Kabobs is a quick and easy meal, that is bright and fun with a sweet heat finish.
I highly recommend the metal, reusable skewers over the bamboo/ wood versions. The metal versions allow for quick cleaning and in some cases are dishwasher safe.
That’s a benefit when working with a sticky and delicious sauce, like Honey Sriracha.
An option, if you have time, is to marinate the steak for several hours in your favorite blend, for added flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce or use up to 2 tablespoons, to taste
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or use lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or use 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- 3 peppers (Green, Yellow, Red)
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 container Cherry Tomatoes
- 2 lbs sirloin tips
Instructions:
- Whisk together the sriracha, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and salt to taste in a small pot over medium-low heat.
- Simmer the Sauce. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to let the flavors combine.
- Set the grill to 350 degrees.
- Create your kabobs with a mix of onions, peppers, tomatoes, and beef.
- Sprinkle the kabobs with salt and pepper (Option – Use Lawry’s Season Salt, in place of regular salt).
- Grill the kabobs until the beef reaches 130-135 degrees internal temperature. This is a medium rare cook for the steak.
- Brush the Honey Sriracha sauce over the beef and allow it to tack up over the heat/ fire.
